Abstract

Several plants have been developed to overcome hair problems, including celery and limes. Limes contain flavonoid compounds, where flavonoids are the largest group of polyphenolic compounds which have antioxidant and antibacterial activity (Adindaputri, et al., 2013). From organoleptic test The form of the dosage is liquid. Brown. The distinctive aroma of celery. Typical celery smell without the addition of perfume. The pH test showed that the average shampoo with the addition of CMC Na 0.5% was 6.7, CMC Na 1% was 7.0, and HPMC 0.5% was 6.6, HPMC 1% was 6.1. Foam ability test, foam height test results show the average value of F1 CMC Na 0.5% from minute 0 has a result of 11.3 cm at minute 5 10.3 cm, the average value of F2 CMC Na 1% minute 0 results 9.3 cm at 5 minutes 7.6 cm, average value of F3 HPMC 0.5% from minute 0 result 11.3 cm at minute 5 10.3 cm, average value of F4 HPMC 1% from minute the 0th result was 5.6 cm at the 5th minute 4.3cm. From the results of testing the viscosity of celery extract shampoo (Apiumgraveolens Linn) and lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia swingle) it was found that the average of formulation 1 was 0.7369, formulation 2 0. .7394 , formulation 3 1.0623 , formulation 4 1.14. From the results of testing the water content of celery extract shampoo (Apiumgraveolens Linn) and lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia swingle) it was found that the average formulation82.1333, formula 2 has an average of82.1800and formula 3 as big as82.1367 formula 4 is 82.2567.Based on research on the formulation and evaluation of anti-dandruff shampoo from celery extract (Apium graveolens L) from lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia swingle) using CMC Na and HPMC, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the type of thickener that has the most influence on the physical properties of the shampoo preparation, namely CMC Na. 1% Formulation 2.
